Get Elbow is not yet onboarding or presenting professionals as verified. This page sets out the framework we intend to use and the information customers should still assess themselves. It will be updated before marketplace launch with final criteria.
Planned identity and contact checks
Professional onboarding is intended to require verifiable identity and contact information. Business details will be requested where a person trades through a registered business. A passed identity check will not by itself guarantee workmanship.
Service suitability
Professionals will be asked to specify the work they actually perform, their service area and relevant experience. Where a regulated task requires a qualification or authorisation, the platform should make that requirement and supplied evidence visible.
Declared service categories and area
Experience and portfolio information
Relevant qualification evidence where applicable
Clear distinction between supplied and independently checked information
Reviews and accountability
The planned review system will be tied to work arranged through the platform so that reviews reflect real interactions. Review rules, moderation and correction mechanisms will be published before reviews are collected.
What customers should always check
No marketplace can remove every risk. Customers should confirm the scope, total price or pricing method, materials, timing, guarantees and responsibility for permits before work starts. High-value or safety-critical work may justify written quotes and independent credentials checks.
Join the appropriate waitlist
Professionals can register their interest in future onboarding. Customers can tell us where demand exists. No verification status is granted during pre-registration.
